Field Trip Guidelines:
Parents must sign a Kids R Kids Field Trip General Permission Form to attend Summer Camp field trips. All Field Trip Costs must be paid in advance. If your child is taking part in a Field Trip, they must wear the Kid R Kids Field Trip T-Shirt (Available at the Front Desk). Closed shoes should be worn at all times at summer camp (no flip flops or sandals). Field Trips designated BYOL, require the child to have a disposable brown bag lunch. If they do not have a lunch, one will be provided for them (Cost of $5).
Don`t Forget Field Trips Must Be Paid For In Advance (Friday Before at the Latest)

At Kids R Kids Summer Camp Every Friday is Water Day!
Kids Love Water Days, so this Summer we decided to have a Water Day Every Week. On Water Days (Every Friday), please send your child with a bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes. Sunscreen is highly recommended. We ask that you apply sunscreen prior to arriving at Kids R Kids. If you would like it reapplied throughout the day, please complete an Sunscreen Authorization form at the front desk. Regular diapers / pull-ups are OK for younger campers. Please keep in mind that closed shoes are to be worn at all times, even on water days. No flip-flops allowed. Avalon Park Summer Campers
will be visiting the Tonya King Splash Pad as a part of their Friday Pizza & Water Days.

Weeks One and Two:

During these two extraordinary weeks, campers will have exciting, hands-on fun with food and proper nutrition in amazingly unique ways!

Weeks Three and Four:

Campers will stretch their imaginations as they explore intriguing aspects of the arts including drama, composing music, painting, architecture, literary writing, choreography, and more! They will be encouraged to discover their amazing, hidden, creative talents and develop them with pizzazz while participating in spectacular adventures.

Weeks Five and Six:

From diving and dunking to winning the race, campers will learn all about being part of a cooperative team while sparkling as amazing kids!

Weeks Seven and Eight:

Have you ever wondered what makes a light bulb come on? Come see for yourself! Campers will look at successful, young entrepreneurs and inventors and learn the latest in what is involved in starting their own innovative businesses. What will be your amazing business or invention?

Weeks Nine and Ten:

During these two awesome weeks, campers will explore many of earth’s amazing natural wonders. They will learn about young sailors who circumnavigate the earth and young climbers who scale the world’s most challenging mountains as they explore and experience wondrous adventures at Camp Amazing Kids!

Over the years, our theme-based summer camps have been very popular with parents and kids alike.

Our Summer Camp 2010 was called Camp Extreme Discoveries.
Wait to you see what challenges and excitement we have in store!
Since the beginning of time, people throughout the world have searched for treasure. As we decipher clues, read maps, and work together through cooperation and respect, discovering treasure is the ultimate goal. Join us as we travel through various extreme environments of our universe. We will unearth some of the greatest wonders on our voyage! Experiencing the lives of people in different cultures, habitats, and atmospheres will guide us to discover the true strength of character within ourselves. With each stop on our journey, we will introduce new ideas and concepts into our individual worlds. Building on our personal character traits, we will begin to understand how to survive more responsibly and respectfully with others and the universe in which we live. Our adventures will take us to the far ends of the universe: the Arctic Circle, the rainforests, hidden caves, the deep oceans, and even to outer space. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Your treasure awaits!
This year’s summer camp, Camp Extreme Discoveries, includes opportunities for campers to involve their communities, families, and friends in what they are experiencing and learning. Campers will participate in a book club, The Camp Extreme Discoveries Paperback Society. By reading the required number of books, campers will earn passports as they travel from one adventure destination to another!
