Kids 'R' Kids Orlando is not your typical extended day program. Servicing the community for ten years, we have the experience and knowledge to give your child a positive experience at the end of his day. You can depend on us to consistently provide a quality program, interacting with your child with planned activities. Our After School program is held to the highest standards by the Department of Children & Families, Orange County Health Department and other accrediting agencies. Our “Hug First, Then Teach” philosophy still holds true in the Before and After-School Program. Kids ‘R’ Kids fosters loving kindness, respect, and understanding in every facet of our approach.
The Benefits Our Before and After-School Program has many incredible features: - We Open Early! Kids ‘R’ Kids opens at 6:30 a.m. to serve the varying shifts of working and busy families.
- We Close Late! We are here for you and your child after school until 6:30 p.m.
- The Kids ‘R’ Kids Homework Help Club is designed to relieve some of the stress homework may bring to your child and fosters a sense of support and encouragement. Our teachers are available for necessary homework help. This promotes a healthy beginning, middle and end to another successful school year, plus adds more quality time for your family.
- The Discovery Zone hosts exciting things about earth science as well as the environmental needs of our community. Through projects from planting a garden to learning about the benefits of recycling, your child will see how she can learn about the earth and help make a difference for future generations.
- The Nova Zone brings artistic expression that appeals to the theatre buff in your child. Your child can perform in or help direct our talent show, Karaoke or a short play.
- The Open Air Zone gives the children a chance to release their energy in our large playground with multiple slides, swings and climbing structures. There is a basketball court, sand box and plenty of room for games of soccer, tag, capture the flag and other fun games the children can participate in after school.
- The Game Zone provides trivia games, group activities, and board games for kids who love to challenge their classmates and enhance their cognitive development. It’s a wonderful social experience for every child.
- The Construction Zone offers an array of sought-after hobbies which have never been so much fun. Here, your child can explore cooking, baking, crafts, and various other teacher-supervised activities to expand his knowledge.
- The Media Center brings change to our world; so does technology! To keep your child on the leading edge, we offer the newest and most advanced games the educational media offers. Access is available to protected websites for education and fun.
- We have been in the community for 10+ years. Our reputation is known throughout the area for having a safe and fun-loving environment for before and after school students.
- We have experienced counselors who have extended early childhood education and know how to make a child feel welcomed and respect his/her individuality.
- Our After School program has an After School supervisor to direct the other counselors and give a point of contact to parents and the after school students.
We have three air-conditioned buses to service the area schools with our experienced and safe drivers. Our buses our equipped with seat belts for all children to safely transport them before and after school.
